A new extraordinary credit card of the pink color has been put out by Halifax, Ireland for public use. The rate on the new card will be equal to the classic black one, for example 10.9 per cent APR on balance transfers and purchases. As its black predecessor, the pink card will offer its customers zero per cent interest on transfers and purchases for the six months or €100 lodged to the new credit card account. Another advantage of the new card is that it can be used by three additional cardholders.
A meetings card from Visa is in the USA now
A world leader in plastic card industry, Visa, has announced the partnership with Arcaneo, provider of meetings technology, and also the launch of a meetings card. At the moment this card is available only in the USA and in Canada but it is expected that in a near future the coverage area will be wider.

MasterCard covers costs from data breach
MasterCard-issuing banks granted to TJX Cos. about $24 million for a settlement in order to cover costs from a massive data breach.
According to the discount retailer report, TJX Cos. got support from financial institutions representing more than 99 percent of MasterCard accounts affected in the breach worldwide. On April 2 it was cleared up that minimum 90 percent of support is needed to get a result.
Scholarships to qualify microfinance staff
Six leading microfinance training institutes will be granted by the MasterCard Foundation $100,000 each under the Scholars Program to train staff working in microfinance in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Middle East. 200 scholarships are planned to be provided.
