Items priced over $1,000 were sold for $49.99 due to an error on 6pm.com

On Friday a popular online shopping website 6pm.com, a subsidiary of Zappos, mistakenly priced almost all items at $49.99. while normally products on the website sell for over $1,000. As a result of the error the company suffered high losses.

"When we figured out the mistake was happening, we had to shut down the site for a bit until we got the pricing problem fixed," says Aaron Magness, director of brand marketing and business development for parent company Zappos Development.
