WordPress warned its users on the blog: “Earlier today the WordPress team noticed suspicious commits to several popular plugins (AddThis, WPtouch, and W3 Total Cache) containing cleverly disguised backdoors. We determined the commits were not from the authors, rolled them back, pushed updates to the plugins, and shut down access to the plugin repository while we looked for anything else unsavory.”

Bloggers can now update their postings without any need to open browsers and load their pages. They can post some audio messages right from their phones. Wordpress has unveiled a new feature that allows Internet users to update their blogs by calling a phone number and speaking what they want to post there. Wordpress users can go to the My Blogs tab, enable "Post by Voice" and get a special phone number to call for their blogs.
