When uber-Googler Andrew McLaughlin first joined the Barack Obama Transition Team into its Technology Innovation and Government Reform (TIGR) group, he wanted to "bring Web 2.0 to Washington." However, it turns out the situation is much harder than he had expected.

Web 2.0 was supposed to grant technological power to the government. Moreover, the change would be defined as eliminating complicated and expensive tasks and simplifying them.
