MySpace becomes a third party provider for Facebook, defeat of a giant?

 Social networking leaders Facebook and MySpace are negotiating the possibility to assimilate a portion of their content which is viewed by some observers as an admission of Murdoch-owned site’s defeat.

Under the terms of the proposed deal MySpace would be supplying videos and music while allowing users to log in via the Facebook Connect API.

As it is noted by industry experts MySpace seems to have fallen very low from top social networking position to a third party media host.

Google confirmed China’s recurrent blockage of YouTube

"YouTube is currently being blocked in China," a Googlespokesman said in a statement. "We do not know the reason for the blockage, but we are working to restore access to YouTube in China as quickly as possible."

The statement was made on Tuesday in support of the reports that access to Google’s YouTube video service has once again been blocked in China. The reports of the problems with the YouTube access in China started sounding late Monday.
