A leading computer technologies manufacturer IBM launched the second lawsuit of the kind against its another employee that joined a rival company. According to the reports the company is suing David Johnson who occupied a position of mergers-and-acquisitions chief and worked with IBM for 27 years, to prevent him from joining Dell, the world's joint second largest provider of PCs.

It was announced that EMC is intended to enforce the non-compete clause to the court over its ex-executive VP David Donatelli, who is set to join HP.

Donatelli, a 22-year president of EMC's storage business with intimate and up to date knowledge of EMC's operations, storage roadmap, partnership with Cisco, strategies concerning VMware, and product and technology roadmaps, had suddenly resigned from his position.
