The country attracted our attention today is Tanzania located in central East Africa. The country is bordered by Kenya and Uganda to the north, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of the Congo to the west, and Zambia, Malawi and Mozambique to the south. Actually, Tanzania is one of the poorest countries in the world, being deprived its natural wealth and resources and totally dependent on help from the rest of the world.

Tanzania’s CRBD Bank to sell 197,866,560 shares

Tanzania’s main commercial CRDB Bank Plc will launch capitalization issue in the current week. Its launching implies a rising tendencies of bank’s share capital. Within this deal the bank expected to increase its capitalization by TShs 23.7 billion. Also bank supposed that with more than 11,000 shareholders the number of shares to be sold will likely account for 197,866,560.

Fast money transfer service to India from Baroda

The Bank of Baroda Ltd has introduced a new Rapid Fund in India aimed at enabling Hindu working in Tanzania to send money in a shorter time.

Anil Gaindhar, the bank’s chief manager said with the service it took five minutes for remittance to be sent to the Indian sub-continent.
