A global money transfer company MoneyGram announced the addition of three new agents in South America to its wide network: Bancolombia in Colombia; Banco de Credito in Peru, and Banco Vision in Paraguay.

With these new partners MoneyGram expands its network with 1,103 new agent locations to a total of 11,305 locations.

Today we are to explore Internet and e-commerce infrastructure of the smallest sovereign state in the South America inhabited by slightly over 481,000 people, Suriname. The country is located to the north of the mainland between French Guiana to the east and Guyana to the west; country’s southern border is shared with Brazil and the northern border is the Atlantic coast. Suriname is the only Dutch-speaking region in the world not a part of the Kingdom of the Netherlands or Belgium and the only state outside Europe with Dutch as an official language.

Today, the country we are to consider is South American Guyana. Guyana represents the third-smallest independent state on the mainland of South America (after Uruguay and Suriname) located on the northern coast that is culturally part of the Anglophone Caribbean. The country, that has an area of only 215,000 km2, is inhabited by slightly over 770,000. Meanwhile, Guyana is one of Latin America’s poorer countries, with the third lowest GDP per capita in the region after Haiti and Nicaragua.

Today, we are to consider one of the South American countries, Paraguay, that represents one of the two landlocked countries which lie entirely within the Western Hemisphere, the other being Bolivia. Paraguay is deemed to be Corazón de América that is translated as Heart of America, because of its central location in South America. The country populated by over 6.3 mn people lies on both banks of the Paraguay River and is bordered by Argentina to the south and southwest, Brazil to the east and northeast, and Bolivia to the northwest.

We are to consider today a landlocked country in central South America, Bolivia. The country is bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay and Argentina to the south, and Chile and Peru to the west. Despite being rich in natural resources, Bolivia has the lowest GDP per capita in the region. Bolivia was rated 'Repressed' by the 2010 Index of Economic Freedom. So let’s see what country’s telecom and e-commerce infrastructure looks like.
