Joseph Cotchett, a San Francisco attorney who interviewed imprisoned Bernard Madoff in a federal prison this week, reported that he wants the introduction of some amendments to the lawsuit so as to include the names of several funds managers who injected investor money into Madoff's $65 billion Ponzi scheme.

The U.S. Attorney General is seeking to seize some of the $826 million fortune that belongs to Bernard Madoff and his wife Ruth after Madoff pleaded guilty to 11 counts of fraud and money laundering.

According to a court document filed to the U.S. District Court in lower Manhattan assets sought by the federal prosecutors include the Madoffs’ four homes – in New York, Montauk, Palm Beach and the south of France – as well as Mrs Madoff's $65,000 silverware collection and a piano.

Ruth Madoff, the 67-year-old wife of alleged fraud mastermind Bernard Madoff, is being investigated by U.S. regulators over whether she helped maintain secret records used in a $50 billion Ponzi scheme, a person familiar with the matter said.
