Billeo connects iPad shoppers to rewards from financial institutions

In a move to help its partners better serve mobile shoppers, drive revenue, and increase brand loyalty, Billeo, Inc. created the ShopSmart iPad app.

ShopSmart represents a specific browser application that allows businesses to optimize rewards and loyalty programs by layering offers directly into people's search results to alert shoppers when a relevant discount is available. Besides, the application links shoppers to their friends which enables financial institutions to be part of online conversations already happening around shopping and daily deals.

Chase announces Ink and Ink Capital credit cards for businesses

 Chase added two new credit cards - Ink and Ink Capital - to its Ink portfolio of business cards. The series features additional purchase rewards or an interest-payment refund to customers with Chase business checking accounts. 

“These additional benefits allow us to thank our business customers for expanding their relationship with Chase,” said Kevin Watters, head of Business Banking at Chase.

AmEx plans to cancel rewards points on credit cards

As it became known Thursday, American Express Co., the biggest U.S. credit-card issuer by purchases, intends to cancel rewards points earned on some credit cards during any month that a late charge is assessed and offer to add them back for a fee. AmEx also said it’s raising rates for cash advances and increasing the late fee.
