Storm smartphone is to get a new redesigned and improved by Research in Motion (Rim) touchscreen, that supposed to be “spongy”.

The original Storm’s touchscreen represented one big button that physically was moving down one or two millimetres each time it was pressed. This feature was disliked by some users, texters particularly, because of the delays making them wait for the screen to move down and then up again and making the process of messages tapping slower.
