By 2012 all mobile phones will have one and the same charging interface

On the recent World Mobile Congress which has been held in Barcelona, Spain it was agreed that by 2012 all mobile phones will be adopted to one universal phone recharger. The announcement has been made by 17 leading companies including 3 Group, AT&T, KTF, LG, mobilkom austria, Motorola, Nokia, Orange, Qualcomm, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, Telecom Italia, Telefónica, Telenor, Telstra, T-Mobile, and Vodafone.
