The new way HSBC prevents its customers from online fraud

HSBC presented its new ‘Rapport’ security software, in a move to remain one step ahead of the fraudsters and to prevent its customers from criminals.

According to some statistic data, with current 50% of internet users banking online criminals are upping their efforts to target consumers via the web. That’s why HSBC is advising its customers to download Rapport.

 Trusteer Rapport provides PII Security to 10 financial institutions

Trusteer announced that last year 10 financial institutions employed its Rapport to protect customers and their personally identifiable information (PII). Central Bank, a regional bank in Kentucky, is the latest customer to use Rapport. The browser security product has been offered free of charge to the customers of seven banks in the US, Canada, and UK, as well as two credit unions and one brokerage firm.
