 Google’s operating system that was presented by the company last week has already leaked onto the Internet and posted for download on several file-sharing sites. Users have compiled Chrome OS from the bits that Google publicly released as part of its move to take the operating system open source.

The “complete” and ready to run application has become available on a number of BitTorrent tracking sites, including Mininova.org and Pirate Bay. The Gdgt website has also posted a free download of the Chrome OS disk image.

Sandryds Handels AB, Swedish company, appeared to hijack the Pirate Bay logo after discovering the torrent tracker had not registered its three-masted graphic with the appropriate authorities.

Sandryds Handels’s to sell a range of sports clothing along with branded techie kit such as MP3 players and USB drives.

 On Wednesday Global Gaming Factory (GGF) was due to come with the required 100 million Swedish kronor (US$14.3 million) to complete the deal with Peerialism, whose P-to-P (peer-to-peer) technology was supposed to be a key component of the new Pirate Bay's infrastructure. A month ago GCF announced that its shareholders had agreed to buy The Pirate Bay.

Since the time when GGF’s shareholders agreed to acquire the world’s largest BitTorrent tracker the company had a month to bring the proposed $7.8 million, half of which would be paid in shares.

On Friday Swedish court pronounced its judgment in the Pirate Bay case. The four defendants were found guilty of violating copyright laws. The verdict was handed down to four men behind BitTorrent tracker site this morning in a court in Stockholm.

"The Stockholm district court has today found guilty the four individuals that were charged with accessory to breaching copyright laws," the court said in a statement. "The court has sentenced each of them to one year in prison."
