Visa has upgraded its Authorize.Net Developer Center, a resource for independent developers to create applications supporting electronic payments and related services for major payment networks including VisaNet. The Developer Center is based on Authorize.Net’s existing platform, which Visa acquired as part of the purchase of CyberSource earlier this year.

Barclaycard has announced the launch of new secure online payment processing system, Barclaycard SmartPay.

Barclaycard SmartPay was designed to help European retailers compete with domestic retailers in foreign markets and reduce the number of transactions where customers do not complete their purchase.
