Over 375 entities use Fiserv’s Mobile Money, with users growth exceeding 600%

Fiserv Inc announced that it now serves over 375 financial institutions with its Mobile Money mobile banking and payments solution. The company says that about 200 of these banks and credit unions are already live on the service, a double growth over the past 12 months. Number of consumers using the service increased by 600% within the past 6 months.

An on-demand payment processor BillingTree Inc announced that Pulaski Electric System is implementing its new suite of mobile applications for electronic bill notification and payments via SMS/Text capable mobile devices.

BillingTree developed a solution for Pulsaki on the basis of Kaizen’s Kpay platform that allows SMS/Text bill notifications. The solution offers a seamless method for billers to notify their customers of a balance due then enables account holders to authorize payment from multiple pre-registered payment forms, including ACH, credit and debit accounts.

Major French mobile operators and Atos Origin launch mobile payments in France

Atos Origin has partnered with three major French mobile carriers to form a new joint venture known as “Buyster”. The JV will develop, market and operate a new mobile payment system in France, say the companies in the joint statement.

Bjuyster payment solution will be accessible to customers in France starting mid-2011. To launch the solution the three French mobile operators (Bouygues Telecom, Orange and SFR) and Atos Origin joined their forces and expertise through Atos Worldline, a European leader in electronic transactions and secure payments.
