Payment Data Systems's Zbill gets a new contract

Zbill, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Payment Data Systems, announced that it signed an agreement with another company on addition of PDS’ Private Label bill payment services to its payroll card programs. The second party of the contract is being kept anonymous, although it has been announced to be a leading provider of stored value cards and transaction processing services to a variety of industry segments.

Payment Data Systems saw a record profits in December

Payment Data Systems, Inc. announced a review of its credit card processing volumes for the fourth quarter. The processing has been carried out on an unaudited basis. 

Dollars processed have increased 25% in December against the rates shown for November. Transactions processed have grown 11% from the outcomes of the previous month. Moreover, December’s dollar volume has been declared to be the highest among the months of 2008.

1,000 retail stores are expected to provide new MasterCard cards to customers by the end of the fourth quarter this year. FiCentive, Inc., a turn-key prepaid card solutions provider wholly owned by Payment Data Systems, Inc., established a long-term partnership with Encompass Communications, Inc. to offer instant issue Encompass Prepaid MasterCard(R) cards through retail outlets.
