T-Mobile USA Inc announced a new purchasing program Direct Carrier Billing to allow customers to make purchase of digital content and services from their Internet connected devices. Using Direct Carrier Billing customers of T-Mobile can charge purchases of digital games, gaming and social networking credits, music, videos and other digital content offerings directly to their existing T-Mobile account right from the Web browser using their PC, smartphone, netbook or computer tablet. |

An Australian police remanded a 35-year-old man from the country town of Castlemaine in Victoria for making an order of bomb-making equipment on eBay at an amount of $AU17,000.

According to a new forecast made by research agency eMarketer companies selling online will see a significant growth of their profits within the following several years. The researcher believes that US retail ecommerce sales will be growing steadily through at least 2015.
The graphs made by eMarketer show that within a period from 2011 through 2015 the industry will see a 43.4% growth with a 13.7% rise expected only this year. |

A new poll by the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA) revealed that 64% of US consumers have declined online purchases on security concerns.
Providing an explanation to their behavior 60% of Americans said they were not sure if the site was secure, 51.4% were worried about providing information requested, and 48.4% felt a website requested more information than was necessary for the transaction. |

A mobile payments provider BOKU has partnered with AT&T to launch a direct mobile payment connection trial. The new program is aimed to offer customers a direct carrier-billing solution for online goods and services using their existing wireless service account.
Now AT&T customers can pay for virtual purchases and online content from participating merchants using the BOKU mobile payments service. Just using their mobile phone customers may make online purchases by entering their mobile number and charging directly to their existing AT&T wireless service account. |
