Twitter Direct Messages are source of phishing and hijacking

Some users of Twitter, the microblogging site, may be the victim of a new phishing and account hijacking attempt on Twitter that specifically affects private messages — called "Direct Messages" or DMs — sent between users. "According to Del Harvey, our trust and safety director, there are onging DM phishing attacks that are affecting a relatively small number of users," said a Twitter spokeswoman.

Since its launch in 2005 YouTube became one of the most popular web contents, reflecting the enormous growth in its popularity, visited and watched by millions of viewers every day. A recent report by eMarketer showed that while revenues of YouTube may be significant they still do not cover the company’s expenses.

According to Nielsen Online, YouTube was the fifth-most-popular Web brand in the US, with over 83 million unique visitors in February.

Nielsen Online reports the increasing usage of mobile Internet in the UK. The popularity of mobile Internet access increased 25% within a three month period which is 8 times greater than the rate of broadband growth. As of today 7.3 million people are accessing the Internet via their mobile devices according to the media analyst agency.
