A largest mobile transaction network mBlox has been granted the Mobile Payments Gold Award in Juniper Research Future Mobile Awards 2010 for Mobile Commerce. mBlox was recognized by Juniper Research for making an outstanding contribution to the future of the Mobile Payments market.

mBlox, a mobile transactions network, announced that in 2009 the company successfully processed over 3.5 billion application-to-person transactions which is 46% up from the previous year. In 2009 mBlox achieved revenues in excess of $110 million. Total revenue for mBlox in 2009 increased by more than 10% as compared with the year before. 

mBlox, the world's largest mobile transaction network, is planning to introduce the first mobile cross-operator ‘sender-pays data' trial. The trial that is to be conducted in the UK will be testing a new business model for the mobile industry. Under this business model content providers and service providers are tied together to combine their associated data costs for the purchase of mobile content which will allow consumers to purchase data-rich content with the data cost included at the point of purchase.
