Forex trends: buck depreciates, slumping to fresh lows

The US currency lost ground across the board in early trading on Friday, tumbling to a 2-day low against the euro, more than a 2-year low versus the Swiss franc and a 9-day low versus the yen.

The dollar, that closed yesterday's New York session at 1.3313 against the euro, plunged to a 2-day low of 1.3435 at about 6:00 am ET today.
