Will you be imposed to shift to Internet Explorer 8?

Microsoft said that starting the third week of April users of IE 6 and 7 on Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003 and Windows Server 2008 will be receiving notifications through the Automate Update service that encourages them to upgrade their system to the latest IE 8 version of the browser.

Microsoft Corp. announced the availability of Windows Internet Explorer 8. The new Web browser that can be downloaded in 25 languages from the company site from noon EDT on March 19 when compared to other browsers is easier to use, works faster and offers leading-edge security features.

A research commissioned by Microsoft and the National Cyber Security Alliance and conducted by Harris Interactive Inc.

New Internet Explorer 8 promises more safety, security and privacy

Microsoft has launched updated browser, Internet Explorer 8. The new browser is projected to help make Web browsing with safer, easier, and more compatible with Internet standards. 

First of the main changes introduced to the IE is related to tabs. In cases of accidentally closing a browser window in IE 8, user is able to restore it when the program is reopened. IE 8 uses color coding to group related tabs together.
