The name of the country means "Warrior King", derived from the ancient Ghana Empire. The Republic of Ghana is a country located in West Africa, bordered by Côte d'Ivoire to the west, Burkina Faso to the north, Togo to the east, and the Gulf of Guinea to the south. In 1874 the British established the Gold Coast Crown colony in the Empire of Ghana.

The country we are to take in consideration today is a landlocked Serbia located at the crossroads of Central- and Southeastern Europe. Covering the southern lowlands of the Carpathian basin and central part of the Balkans, Serbia borders Hungary to the north, Romania, Bulgaria to the east, Republic of Macedonia to the south, and Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro to the west. Country’s border with Albania is disputed. Serbia is a member of the United Nations, Council of Europe, BSEC and is to preside over the CEFTA in 2010. The country is also an EU membership applicant.

El Salvador represents the smallest but at the same time the most densely populated country in Central America with almost 7.2 mn inhabitants. The country, which lies on the Gulf of Fonseca, borders the Pacific Ocean between Guatemala and Honduras. The capital city of San Salvador is the largest city of the republic. El Salvador has the third largest economy in the region, behind Costa Rica and Panama, with GDP per capita standing at $4,365. Actually, most of El Salvador's economy has been hampered by natural disasters such as earthquakes and hurricanes.

We are to examine today the Internet and e-commerce infrastructure of Honduras that represents a republic in Central America. The country is bordered to the west by Guatemala, to the southwest by El Salvador, to the southeast by Nicaragua, to the south by the Pacific Ocean at the Gulf of Fonseca, and to the north by the Gulf of Honduras, a large inlet of the Caribbean Sea. The economy has continued to grow slowly, but the distribution of wealth remains very polarized with average wages remaining low.

We are to consider today a landlocked country in central South America, Bolivia. The country is bordered by Brazil to the north and east, Paraguay and Argentina to the south, and Chile and Peru to the west. Despite being rich in natural resources, Bolivia has the lowest GDP per capita in the region. Bolivia was rated 'Repressed' by the 2010 Index of Economic Freedom. Zimbabwe is a landlocked country located in the southern part of the continent of Africa, between the Zambezi and Limpopo rivers. It is bordered by South Africa to the south, Botswana to the southwest, Zambia to the northwest and Mozambique to the east.

This beautiful, amazing country, Portugal, located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula, represents a developed country with the world's 19th-highest quality-of-life. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean to the west and south and by Spain to the north and east, the country also posses the Atlantic archipelagos of the Azores and Madeira, the wonderful nature of which are the dream of any tourist. Madeira, meantime, is also attractive for foreign companies as a tax-haven by its Free Trade Zone and Off-Shore Financial Centre.

The amazing country Bahamas, representing an archipelago comprising of 29 islands, 661 cays, and 2,387 islets, is located in the Atlantic Ocean north of Cuba, Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti) and the Caribbean Sea, northwest of the Turks and Caicos Islands, and southeast of the USA. Economic activity of the country populated by just 307,000 inhabitants is mostly based on tourism and financial services. A relatively high level of economic freedom has made The Bahamas, with its capital in Nassau, one of the most prosperous countries in the Caribbean region.
