According to the reports in the Register a Chinese man was killed at a computer shop on Friday last week. The death was caused by the explosion of his mobile phone that was in his chest pocket. As a result of the explosion his major neck artery was severely injured which led to massive blood loss. Local news reports revealed that the man was working as a shop assistant at the store.

E-commerce giant in China Alibaba has officially located its South China headquarters in Guangzhou Development District. The District became the group's second regional headquarters since the opening of its Hangzhou headquarters.

The South China headquarters is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Alibaba with a total investment of 50 million USD.

Alibaba Group, a leading E-commerce company in China, is to invest RMB 300 million next year, with the aim of developing Koubei.com, its online community service provider.

Along with helping Alibaba in building a comprehensive community services, the funds will assist the company in promoting consumption and employment. Moreover, the company stated that Koubei.com will cover such sectors of business as catering and accommodation, real estate, entertainment and sports, education and health care in such large cities as Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
