Wikipedia makes its service “more legal”

It was declared that the Wikimedia Foundation will be changing the terms of its licenses on the content in Wikipedia to Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License (CC-BY-SA), with the aim of simplifying the process of re-using the content on Wikipedia and its other sites.

The decision has already been approved by Wikimedia's Board of Trustees.

New software upgrade known as osCommerce Plug-In for Quick Open Source Integration was recently introduced by MyECheck Inc., an electronic transaction processor and provider of alternative payment solutions. The software developed by MyECheck enables osCommerce users to easily access MyECheck services by simply downloading and installing software from the website of osCommerce.

Cisco’s violations no longer to be tolerated, FSF files a suit

San Jose-based technology giant Cisco is being sued by the Free Software Foundation (FSF) for the breach of the General Public License (GPL). The group of open source announced that it filed a copyright infringement lawsuit against the network kit vendor in the US District Court for the Southern District of New York. In accordance with the group’s allegations “in the course of distributing various products under the Linksys brand Cisco has violated the licenses of many programs on which the FSF holds copyright”.
