Dutch bank ABN AMRO former employees set up their own company in the Netherlands and Britain, called Aethra Asset Management. The new company will service institutional clients and retail investors too. Aethra’s first products will be created by employees who focus on tactical asset allocation and European growth stocks.

Norkom Technologies has announced that Banco Santander, one of the world’s top 10 banks and the largest bank in the euro zone, has selected its AML Solution for implementation in Santander AML Units, marking Norkom’s official foray into the Spanish financial services marketplace. 

Canadian security company Cryptocard is launching a combined payment card and one-time-password generator, with the aim of securing online banking log-in and decreasing the number of card-not-present frauds.

The company, whose customers list includes Apacs, ING, Fortis, and TD Bank, stated that the EMV-ready CD-1 Credit Card Display token is currently being tested.
