Former ABN AMRO employees created their own investment firm

Dutch bank ABN AMRO former employees set up their own company in the Netherlands and Britain, called Aethra Asset Management. The new company will service institutional clients and retail investors too. Aethra’s first products will be created by employees who focus on tactical asset allocation and European growth stocks.

Cryptocard is launching a combined 2FA and a payment card

Canadian security company Cryptocard is launching a combined payment card and one-time-password generator, with the aim of securing online banking log-in and decreasing the number of card-not-present frauds.

The company, whose customers list includes Apacs, ING, Fortis, and TD Bank, stated that the EMV-ready CD-1 Credit Card Display token is currently being tested.
