China suffers its tenth straight monthly fall in foreign direct investment

Yao Jian, a spokesman for the Ministry of Commerce, said on Monday that China suffered its tenth straight monthly fall in foreign direct investment. FDI inflows dropped 35.7 % in July from a year earlier to $US5.36 billion, much steeper than June`s 6.8 % fall. But the country the country sees good news ahead on the export front.

Foreign companies can make their IPO in China?

As it became known on Wednesday, The Ministry of Commerce is in collaboration with other ministries to encourage foreign-funded companies to make public share offerings in China.

As Chen Jian, a vice-commerce minister, reported that they are continue to work with other departments on policies regarding domestic IPOs of foreign firms to actively guide high-quality foreign companies to make IPOs in China.
