A new website called Google New was launched to allow users learn about all of the latest offerings from the company. It will be a place for people to know about everything Google does from new products to acquisitions.

The offerings may be sorted by product or area of interest. By default, it shows the latest offerings for any given product. Areas of interest include business, developers, education, entertainment, geo and maps, mobile, non-profit, and social.

Yet, YouTube achieved lower ratings when it comes to credibility as compared with its high ranks in entertainment.

A new NPD Group report shows that 53 percent of U.S. consumers have been to the movies in the last six months, whereas those who played a video game made 63 percent. 

Although, according to NPD, video gaming is way behind music listening (94 percent), it benefits from new play outlets, including social networks (10 percent) and downloadable games (5 percent).
