electraECOMM is an online real time payment processing solution, supporting all major credit and debit cards from global payment processing networks and multiple currencies. It provides transaction acquiring and processing interfaces to Web Merchants, Customers, EFT Switches & Acquirer Networks.

An on-demand payment processor BillingTree announced about its participation at the upcoming Conferences Connect Summer School 2011 Series, it will contribute electronic billing and payment technology content to the events for top utility and energy professionals.

Conferences Connect will involve conferences, webinars and courses designed specifically for electric utility and other energy industry executives.

Visa Inc announced the launch of next generation payment solutions to replicate the ease, reliability and security of Visa point-of-sale payments within traditional and digital eCommerce, mobile commerce and burgeoning social networking commerce environments.

According to the official statement the new offering will include a secure cross-channel digital wallet and a range of customized mobile payments services that address the specific requirements of geographic markets around the world.

The Central Bank of Nigeria has set new policies to reduce expensive and risky cash in favor of electronic payment methods. The bank released a circular to industry participants that outlines new rules for paper cash.

The circular says that the dominance of paper money has big cash management, security and money laundering implications.

The world’s largest retail electronic payments network Visa Inc announced the Visa Mobile application for the iPhone. Using the tool iPhone owners will have access to over 50 unique merchant offers ranging from clothing and dining to entertainment. The Visa Mobile application is now available as a free download from the iTunes app store.

VeriFone Systems Inc has partnered with RSA, the Security Division of EMC, to market their conjoint end-to-end encryption and tokenization solutions as an integrated payment security offering to be branded VeriShield Total Protect.

When implemented, VeriShield Total Protect will use industry-proven security technology and leverage electronic payment systems deployed in the majority of merchants world-wide to provide a consistent, consolidated approach to protecting payment card data from end-to-end, both pre- and post-authorization.

According to the latest report of VeriFone Systems, Inc., a provider of secure electronic payment solutions, the company has partnered Gemalto to jointly pursue new chip card solutions based on the global EMV payment standard. Also it is expected that VeriFone will buy Gemalto's point of sale (POS) solutions business, and Gemalto will become the preferred supplier of Machine-to-Machine (M2M) wireless modules and related solutions for VeriFone payment systems.

WebMoney Transfer announced the launch of MasterCard Worldwide plastic card for Internet and offline payments. The new service allows users to order both conventional Maestro, MasterCard Standard card and electronic MasterCard Virtual card. Customers of WebMoney will be able to get the card via WM-service and load funds to it from their WebMoney wallets.

WebMoney doesn’t charge any hidden fees except a standard 0.8%. Virtual cards remain valid for one year while Maestro and MasterCard Standard are valid for a period of two years.

ProPay, a provider of End-to-End Payment Security, credit card processing, electronic payment services, and tokenization, announced that it plans to host the first in a series of Payment Card Security seminars designed to provide real world guidance around protecting data while achieving compliance in a more cost effective and efficient manner. The first session will be held in Dallas, Texas, on October 20, 2010.

Online electronic payment solutions provider EntroPay has integrated its payment service with the affiliate tracking and lead management software of LinkTrust Systems. The companies believe the integration will provide consumers with a straightforward method for issuing payouts to affiliates regardless of location. LinkTrust clients that adopt EntroPay will benefit from significantly lower costs, more efficient payment processing and enhanced security for domestic and international payouts.

allpay Limited announced that it was granted Visa Card manufacturing and Bureau accreditation. Hereford-based company allpay partnered with Visa to pass the strict accreditation. Initially achieving Visa Bureau Vendor status, Visa Manufacturing Accreditation followed shortly after and includes card production and EMV chip embedding.

allpay can now offer its clients full Visa EMV production and services from its purpose built, highly secure production area which was developed with an investment in excess of £2 million.

Customers can join eBillme.com's mailing list to receive back-to-school sales alerts. In addition to these special sales at participating merchants, eBillme.com also offers customers a special 'deal of the day.' These deals come from name brand merchants such as Sears and Buy.com and the merchandise is offered at a steeply discounted rate.

TransCard, a provider of electronic payment and prepaid debit card solutions, starts a new program to expand its bill payment platform into a complete suite of enterprise payment settlement and reconciliation services.

The new product line that will target specifically enterprise customers is based on TransCard’s automated payment toolkit, including attaching pay anyone bill-pay, card, check, EBT, and person-to-person payments with a robust set of tools for managing, monitoring, and recording payments.
