PayPal expands its presence in Brazil and Mexico through Digital River

A provider of ecommerce solutions Digital River Inc has partnered with PayPal. Now an eBay subsidiary payment system is implementing Digital River® World Payments™ solution to support local online payment processing in Brazil and Mexico.

“Digital River World Payments is a very important part of our payments program and will definitely offer a key structure support for the expansion of the company in Brazil,” said Mario Mello, PayPal’s general manager for Brazil.

Digital River, Inc. a known provider of global e-commerce solutions has announced the appointment of Alfred J. Castino to its board. Previously Castino worked as CFO of both Virage and Rightpoint; as vice president and corporate controller of Chiron; and as manufacturing controller at Wyse Technology.
