A provider of ecommerce solutions Digital River Inc has partnered with PayPal. Now an eBay subsidiary payment system is implementing Digital River® World Payments™ solution to support local online payment processing in Brazil and Mexico.
“Digital River World Payments is a very important part of our payments program and will definitely offer a key structure support for the expansion of the company in Brazil,” said Mario Mello, PayPal’s general manager for Brazil. |

Digital River, Inc. a known provider of global e-commerce solutions has announced the appointment of Alfred J. Castino to its board. Previously Castino worked as CFO of both Virage and Rightpoint; as vice president and corporate controller of Chiron; and as manufacturing controller at Wyse Technology. Prior to 1980, he held assistant vice president and auditor positions with Bank of America, Deloitte and Touche, and Arthur Andersen.

E-commerce software provider Digital River today launched a new product designed to help online traders improve their sales figures for limited quantity, limited edition, refurbished and clearance stock. Digital River Limited Edition is built on the firm's global e-commerce platform, but is particularly tailored to firms that want to extend the market for their goods, shift limited quantity products, and strengthen customer relationships, according to the firm.
