A man that infected 3,000 PCs worldwide with banking malware was arrested

South Australian police said in a statement that a 20-year old man from Adelaide was arrested on charges of infecting 3000 computers worldwide with Trojan malware capable of capturing banking credentials and credit card information from compromised machines. The arrest was made following a three-month investigation by electronic crime units from SA Police and the Australian Federal force.

China also suffers large scale DDoS attacks?

It was announced that an attack on a domain registrar in China caused access problems for millions of internet users earlier this week.

As a chain reaction touched off by a distributed denial-of-service attack on the domain name of system servers of DNSPod, Internet service in at least five provinces including Shanxi, Guangxi, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and Hebei was negatively affected.
