As it’s known, about three weeks ago Eric Schmidt got a letter from data protection officials representing Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Spain, and the UK that was expressing concerns about Google Buzz and Google's overall approach to privacy.

Gemalto retains SAS Security Certification

Security Accreditation Scheme (SAS) re-certification from the GSM Association was recently granted to Gemalto’s card center in Montgomeryville, Penn. Gemalto, one of the largest players in digital security, is said to be the only company to have a North American facility with the demanding and state-of-the art SAS security certification.
