Twitter vitiates YourBitTorrent and TorrentSurf for abuse

Twitter has stopped the accounts of two BitTorrent sites, YourBitTorrent and TorrentSurf, without prior notice and little explanation. As reported, the sites have been quashed for "abuse" of the micro-blogging service. 

However, both BitTorrent sites were regularly updating their Twitter accounts with links to freshly-posted torrents.

Online games that popularize mafia banned in China

According to the official Xinhua news agency, China has enjoined websites featuring or publicizing online games which glamorize mafia gangs, saying violators will be "severely punished." The Culture Ministry said such games "advocate obscenity, gambling, or violence," and "undermine morality and Chinese traditional culture."
