An international technology provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions Clear2Pay has acquired a US based provider of payment test applications for core payment platforms and system capacity Lexcel Solutions.

Clear2Pay, a provider of next generation payment solutions for financial institutions, announced an agreement with Techso (Pty) Ltd., appointed by the South-African National Department of Transport (NDOT), in association with Keith Smith Consulting.

Clear2Pay, an international provider of payment solutions, has partnered with Edenred, previously known as Accor Services, to launch the first card-based luncheon voucher on the Belgian market.

As Clear2Pay announced Monday, it has achieved full SwiftReady accreditation for its Open Payment Framework and the payment solutions derived off it and thus has successfully demonstrated full compliance with the SwiftReady Payments 2010 Label criteria.

Sunday, Clear2Pay introduced its Tax Data Service (TDS) product on the opening day of NACHA Payments 2010.

TDS automates and streamlines the formatting and routing of tax payments, replacing a traditionally manual and resource intensive process.

Clear2Pay, the international provider of payment solutions for financial institutions, reported that its Open Payment Framework technology is at the core of the Enterprise Services Bus (ESB) that has gone live at Bank of East Asia (BEA) in Shenzhen to support its entire business in China.

Clear2Pay, a Belgian electronic payment company, has gained a financing of EUR50 million in an investment round led by New York private equity firm Aquiline Capital Partners.

According to the company statement the funds which also include money from current Clear2Pay investors, will be used for the company's "next stage of growth and potential strategic acquisitions".

Wednesday, Clear2Pay unveiled it signed a partnership agreement with GFI Informatique for a number of joint activities. 

 Alcatel-Lucent in association with its venture, touchatag and Clear2Pay, a global payment solutions provider, have partnered for the launch of a mobile payment framework for mobile operators.

Under this framework initiative users will be able to make purchases, buy tickets or transfer money using their mobile phone. For example, by placing a Near Field Communications (NFC) enabled mobile phone over scanners at a point-of-sale terminal, a user can use his phone as a wallet.
