Facebook should pay $100 million for scamming users

Facebook is sued by a group of customers over Friend Finder service which allegedly uses user names and photos without permission and makes false claims about it usefulness.

With the new feature users are encouraged to upload their email contacts entirely so they can be reunited on the social networking site. Facebook often promotes the service by showing users the names and photos of their friends along with the claim that the friends found many of their Facebook contacts using the Friend Finder service.

Apple is sued on ten counts for deceptive marketing campaign that misrepresents the features and functionality of its computer tablet iPad. Jacob Baltazar, Claudia Keller, and John Browning have submitted a lawsuit with the US District Court, Northern District of California alleging that "the iPad overheats so quickly under common weather conditions that it does not function for prolonged use either outdoors, or in many other warm conditions."

Dell agreed to pay $9.1 million in a female discrimination lawsuit

On Friday a biggest computer maker Dell reported that it has agreed to settle a federal gender-discrimination class action lawsuit brought by former employees for $9.1 million, says the Associated Press. Dell said it will use $5.6 million for payments to class members and for litigation costs.
