While Google markets its Chrome OS based computers as safe because of cloud information storage compared to traditional PCs where the information is stored on hard drives, researchers have found some vulnerabilities that allow hackers successfully steal users’ data the same way they do when hijacking websites.

Starting June the world’s top search engine Google will be selling its laptop computers on Chrome operating system to challenge Microsoft and Apple in their market. It is the latest of Google’s efforts to show that they are real innovators in the field of computing and hi-tech.

The PCs with the focus on the web are manufactured by Samsung and Acer inc. The operating system developed by Google is essentially a web browser that encourages people to use applications like email and spreadsheets directly on the web, instead of storing software.

Google launches its own-branded Chrome netbook November

Later this month Google is rumored to launch its first Chrome OS based netbook while vendors like Acer and HP are expected to announce their versions in December. The information leaked from Taiwanese electronics industry moles to the local news website DigiTimes.

Google's Chrome notebook is expected to be manufactured by Inventec with initial shipments to reach 60,000-70,000 units. The Google Chrome notebook will feature an ARM-based platform and will not be selling through retail channels.

According to some speculations Google and Adobe are about to announce their partnership. As some observers note the rumor has at least two factors as a ground. First is that Adobe is already part of Google Pack. Second, is cited by Larry Dignan who was speaking about the people which learnt the fact from "reliable sources."

Dignan wrote, "Chrome already works with Flash, but the announcement may include future versions of the Chrome browser or may focus on Google's Chrome operating system."
