Google will no longer stay the same in China: "Something will happen soon”

Google is negotiating grand reformation of its business policy in China. Eric Schmidt, a CEO of the search engine giant, reiterated that the company is talking with the Chinese government over its future in the Heavenly Empire and he expects some sort of the situation further development soon. Still, Schmidt didn’t provide any detailed information on the matter.

"I can't really say anything other than that we're in active negotiations with the Chinese government, and there is no specific timetable," he said. "Something will happen soon."

People are warned against using Internet Explorer: it is vulnerable to hacking

The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) recommended Internet subscribers in Germany to cease using Microsoft’s popular Internet browser and shift to another software instead. The move comes after the news that the browser helped recent attacks against Google’s search engine in China.

While the software giant acknowledged that Internet Explorer did allow hackers in China to hijack email accounts of Chinese human rights activists, Microsoft still stated that the warning against its browser is unnecessarily strong.

Chinese hackers breached 1,295 machines at NATO and foreign ministries

The Times has today reported that 1,295 machines at NATO and foreign ministries, embassies, banks and news organizations across the world, as well as computers used by the Dalai Lama and Tibetan exiles were compromised by some spy system. A spy network believed to have been controlled from China has hacked into classified documents on government and private computers in 103 countries, according to internet researchers, says British newspaper.
