The Cumbria Constabulary and Tufin Technologies conducted a survey amid 1,000 children in London and 150 from the northern English county of Cumbria reflected over a quarter of children had tried hacking at least once, despite the majority of kids agree that computer hacking is wrong and bad.

Thus the survey found 26% of kids surveyed said they had tried hacking, breaking into someone else's account, at some point. Of those who had hacked, 27% had targeted accounts on the popular social networking site Facebook, and 18% went after their friends' e-mail accounts.

US will address problem of children protection against sex and violence content

On Monday Julius Genachowski, a Chairman of the Federal Communications Commission, stated that the agency will start an inquiry to examine the various technologies to block children from watching programs with sex and violence.

"Parents must have access to control technologies that can appropriately limit their children's exposure to unsuitable material," FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski said in releasing an agency report detailing the technologies available to parents.

Disney Family.com conducted s survey that showed 84% of parents report that their children are involved with some sort of extracurricular activity with 71% reporting that their children are involved in two or more activities.

What childrean are searching on the Internet

According to a study, conducted by Symantec Corp, computer security company, children are increasingly using the Internet to watch YouTube videos, connect with friends on social network sites and look up "sex" and "porn”.

Symantec identified the top 100 Web searches conducted between February and July through its family safety service OnlineFamily.Norton, which monitors children's and teenager's Internet use.

Only professionals will be able to access such sites which will be achieved through installing special software by medical information service providers.
