According to Fiserv, Inc, Verizon Communications has renewed its contract with the company. Fiserv will be providing electronic billing and payments services to Verizon for several more years. 

Through the use of the services offered by Fiserv, Verizon can continue to offer electronic billing its more than 100 million wireless and landline customers.

Leading provider of information technology services to the financial services industry, Fiserv, Inc. announced Fiserv’s CheckFree line of business was ranked as the top retail Internet banking provider for the third year in a row by leading financial services IT and strategy research firm, Celent. 

CheckFree, now part of Fiserv, Inc., has announced that Raymond James Financial, Inc. has selected the CheckFree UMA solution for its models-only program, deepening an extensive client relationship that began in 2004. As part of its models-only program, which is scheduled to launch during the first quarter of 2009, CheckFree will provide Raymond James with its CheckFree Model Management Solution (MMS) to serve as a communications portal for model updates and further streamline the UMA program.

Today CheckFree, now part of Fiserv, Inc., has announced the release of its CheckFree Advantage Fee 6.2 client billing and revenue management solution. The new multi-lingual capability has been developed in conjunction with a tier 1 investment management client that has implemented this new capability at several locations globally. The principal difference of CheckFree Advantage Fee is a variety of language formats to localize the solution for specific client billing requirements. 

This week a leading provider of information technology services to the financial industry Fiserv Inc. announced that it implemented its CheckFree transaction management and reconciliation solution for Dubai Islamic Bank that has assets of $84.3 billion. The Dubai Islamic Bank project is the result of an ongoing collaboration with EastNets Group, Fiserv's primary business partner in Dubai.

Online payment service CheckFree has lost control of at least two of its domains on Tuesday in an attack that sent customers to servers run by a notorious crime gang believed to be based in Eastern Europe.
