Mitek Systems, Inc., a provider of image analytics and mobile document capture software applications, in association with mFoundry, a leading provider of mobile banking and payment solutions, made an announcement about their demonstrating the new capabilities of Mitek's ImageNet Mobile Deposit within the mFoundry mobile banking application on an iPhone at the San Diego Convention Center during this week.

Unaudited 2008 financial results were recently presented by MyECheck Inc., an electronic transaction processor and provider of alternative payment solutions. According to the report the company successfully processed about 2.1 million transactions in 2008, its first full year of operation on its patented electronic transaction system. Audited financial statements will be filed with the SEC on or before the due date of March 31, 2009.

This spring Wausau Financial Systems Inc. is going to launch a version of its WebDDL remote-deposit capture product specially designed for use by independent sales organizations (ISOs) to let merchants turn paper checks into images they can transmit electronically to their banks. By the moment about five ISOs said they will work with Wausau, and three will be processing remote-capture transactions by April when the company presents its product.

Viewpointe®, a leading provider of check image exchange and archive services, completed the acquisition of PaymentsNation, a premier payments solution provider. Earlier in September Viewpointe announced the agreement to purchase the assets of PaymentsNation as a strategic move to provide a more comprehensive set of payments services to financial institutions. This transaction is said to be in line with Viewpointe's goal of an end-to-end clearing and settlement offering to customers.
