USAePay, a GorCorp company, a payment gateway service provider, announced the launch of Check 21 functionality for their USA eCheck service through VeriCheck. 

According to the company statement the new service was developed to help merchants improve overall efficiency of their check processing. Check 21 allows merchants to scan their consumer's check payment at the point of sale.

Digital Check, a provider of desktop check scanners and remote deposit capture technology to the financial industry, announced that Metavante® Corporation, a leading provider of banking and payments technology, certified its CheXpress® CX30 check scanner which means that Metavante becomes an authorized reseller of Digital Check’s technology and can utilize the company’s check scanners in conjunction with its remote deposit capture solution.
