BOKU allows AT&T customers charge online purchases to their phone bill

A mobile payments provider BOKU has partnered with AT&T to launch a direct mobile payment connection trial. The new program is aimed to offer customers a direct carrier-billing solution for online goods and services using their existing wireless service account.

Now AT&T customers can pay for virtual purchases and online content from participating merchants using the BOKU mobile payments service. Just using their mobile phone customers may make online purchases by entering their mobile number and charging directly to their existing AT&T wireless service account.

Boku users can charge online purchases to their Vodafone bill

Boku is entering a new direct partnership with Vodafone UK to use its API. Under the new deal Boku users will be able to charge their online purchases (this applies beyond just virtual goods) directly to their Vodafone pre and post paid accounts by connecting with Vodafone’s MPAY payments API.

Vodafone customers can make either single or subscription purchases of any amount between 5p and £30 GBP. The connection also enables two-step authorization and capture, transaction processing and the ability pass refunds back to the customer’s account.
