MoneyGram International announced it has added two new agents this year to its agent network. Now Friendly Check and RiteCheck are also offering international money transfer and bill payment services under the brand of MoneyGram.

Friendly Check based in North Carolina started offering MoneyGram services May 16. This adds 45 more locations across North Carolina and Virginia. The agent offers MoneyGram Express Payment and Utility Bill Payment products in addition to money transfers.

TransCard, a provider of electronic payment and prepaid debit card solutions, starts a new program to expand its bill payment platform into a complete suite of enterprise payment settlement and reconciliation services.

The new product line that will target specifically enterprise customers is based on TransCard’s automated payment toolkit, including attaching pay anyone bill-pay, card, check, EBT, and person-to-person payments with a robust set of tools for managing, monitoring, and recording payments.

Billeo has expanded its Biller Directory to allow consumers to pay bills instantly with a credit, debit or prepaid card at more than 10,000 companies across 26 categories – from cable service providers to the Department of Motor Vehicles. Now Billeo's Biller Directory now covers more than 15,000 companies with two-thirds accepting card-based bill payments.

MasterCard has introduced a new bill payment service for its prepaid card issuers and program managers, and their cardholders. MasterCard has partnered with Aliaswire to deploy its payment platform and offer the partners a new bill payment service that integrates easily with their prepaid card program, and enables MasterCard prepaid cardholders to conveniently pay bills online or via telephone.

A provider of financial services technology solutions Fiserv has entered into a partnership with MoneyGram International in a move to allow customers to pay different household bills through financial institution websites the same day they are due.

Under this partnership consumers who use one of over 3,100 financial institutions that use the CheckFree(R) RXP(R) online payment service, which includes 23 of the top 50 financial institutions in the United States, in order to pay bills will be able to access the integrated same day payment option.

PreCash announced the launch of the new service, Billocity, that represents an expedited bill routing and delivery service that offers bill payment processors easier, faster and more profitable payment delivery.

As company markets the new solution "the service uses virtual card accounts to help processors add revenue and deliver a better value to consumers and billers."

Diebold, Incorporated, a United States-based security systems corporation, has implemented its MobiTransact at Alpine Bank of Grand Junction, Colo.

The new solution offered by Alpine Bank to its clients features easy integration, high-quality channel without requiring a large upfront expense or adding the complexities of daily management and maintenance.

Apart from the goal to remain competitive with larger financial institutions Alpine Bank selected Diebold's MobiTransact for its wide range of offerings, including bill payment applications.
