Billeo announced the launch of PayDirect Assistant, a new patent-pending online service, which allows bank bill pay customers to make immediate payments - even on the bill's due date - using their debit card or credit card.

 Allscripts announced today an agreement with Intuit Inc. to become the first to offer Quicken Health(SM) Bill Pay. The online service integrates with Allscripts' practice management and revenue cycle management solutions, used by 110,000 physicians, to help patients understand their medical bills and pay them online while helping physicians get paid faster.

 On Friday SmartCard Marketing Systems Inc. CEO Massimo Barone made a statement that the company continues its growth in the Merchant Alternative Payment sector benefiting from increased transactions stemming from b2b payments with over 11,000 transactions processed in the past week. He noted that the company’s goal is to continue their triple digit growth into 2010 and 2011.

Springbok Services today introduced its enPay® prepaid payroll cards, a convenient and cost-effective alternative to paper payroll checks. As part of Springbok’s payroll offering, the company is also launching Springbok Bill Pay, an automated bill payment service to help cardholders fully leverage the value of their prepaid payroll cards.
