Today we are talking about the country that occupies most of northern North America. The name of this country originally means “village” (translation from the word “kanta”). That is a country of a parliamentary democracy and a constitutional monarchy, with Queen Elizabeth II as the head of state. Two languages are equally used in this country and both are official: English and French.
