ASEAN

The Asean Free Trade Agreement -AFTA, definitely plays a significant role in the development of e-commerce among ASEAN nations. ASEAN is the Association of Southeast Nations, with 10 member states and an estimated population of 575.5 million. ASEAN members are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam; this regional economic group presented a GDP of US$ 3,431.2 billion for the year 2007.
