According to the latest research from Analysys Mason, broadband pricing in Europe and the US dropped by €5 a month, on average, as broadband speeds went up by an average of 20% during the last year.

This drop in prices happened after a relatively flat period during the past recession, when prices held up.

Even with the current recession mobile advertising is still promising, suggested Analysys Mason  during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

During the economic downturn consumers are likely to tighten their budgets. They will be spending more time at home and likely to use cheaper means of entertainment and information. This creates new opportunities for mobile advertising.
