Amazon Payments allows shoppers login right on the merchant site

Amazon Payments has enhanced customer experience when paying at merchants sites. Now with the upgraded Checkout capability users can make purchases on a merchant's site using their Amazon.com account credentials without leaving the merchant's site. Consumers can now access their Amazon address book and payment methods directly on a merchant's site without being redirected back to Amazon.

Amazon Payments launches Amazon FPS Quick Starts and become more availbale

Amazon Payments, a subsidiary of Amazon.com, Inc. is still developing its payments infrastructure and now it’s available to all. Company announced on Thursday the General Availability of Amazon Flexible Payments Service (Amazon FPS) and the implementation of Amazon FPS Quick Starts. FPS Quick Starts aggregate various Amazon FPS APIs into a simplified set of APIs that reduce the number of steps that developer have to take to enable transaction processing on their websites.
