Sony Online Entertainment in an unprecedented move on Facebook

Sony Online Entertainment makes an unprecedented step by developing a game for Facebook social networking website with more games to come in the near future.

Sony Online Entertainment announced that it has launched its first Facebook game, PoxNora, a free-to-play strategy game that is also available on the PC. According to the announcement, SOE is planning "additional games for the Facebook platform based on both existing franchises and new intellectual property."

Thus, SOE becomes one of the first PC-focused online gaming developers to step onto the Facebook platform.
