visaIn Africa a new credit card product is being introduced by United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. The bank announced that it is launching UBA VISA Dual Currency Debit Card for domestic and international use. The card supports Naira, US Dollars and other international currency transactions.

"This is the best thing that has happened to customers in recent times as they do not need to carry multiple cards for different purposes especially when they travel out of the country," says Executive Director, Global Products and Segment Banking, Mrs. Angela Nwabuoku.

Customers may use their UBA VISA Dual Currency Debit Card at over 24 million shops and business locations worldwide where the VISA International acceptance sign is displayed, in over 220 countries as well as at more than 900,000 ATM machines around the world.

With the new credit card customers may enjoy such services as a real-time SMS transaction notification on customer's account, a credit line that enables customers to apply for UBA finance/loan options, payment for goods and services over the internet, domestic account to account transfer, safe means of transactions, 24 hrs account balance enquiries and online access.
